Do QPR supporters (or at least the ones on here) mirror the national trend of English football fans preferring their club to win the PL (63%) than England to win the World Cup? Let’s see where we stand on this frankly unlikely binary choice!

Country for me on this one. The World Cup is the greatest sporting competition in the world.

PS, if you happen not to be English, substitute the country most relevant to you in place of England.

I'm going England. Mainly because of the national togetherness that it would bring.

I can’t believe it’s 50:50. QPR winning the League Cup is bigger than anything England can do.

The possibility of the R's winning the league title is more remote than England winning a world cup again......but I still live in hope of seeing both in my life time.....

Tough one. I've opted for QPR but nearly went for England as that feeling and title would last for four years.

I'm not surprised that so many are going for QPR, but it's a no brainer for me.
    Country first always.

I was thinking about this after our sorry exit on Wednesday. At that moment, as I sulked, I would have given our OBZ moment to have made the final. I considered asking on here if I was alone, because I'd never felt like that before, always club before country, not even a conversation to be had.

3 days later, the disappointment has subsided, I don't think I'd swap, but I take Stroller's point about the feeling of national unity going all the way to glory - would have been amazing.

    Club QPR.
The only time l’ve seen them do well in the top grade was 43 years ago and even though my memory of it still lingers, l think we’re overdue to give it another shake.

Yes, and I saw England win a WC but never QPR win the top level. We were so close back then in 76 and we should have stepped things up the following seasons... Its about time we did.

If I really have to choose England winning World Cup has to come first.
Not sure I would think the same over the Euros!
Even though to me the Euros is a harder competition!
But would sacrifice that for sure for QPR winning Premier League!

The grin on my face if QPR won the Premier League would last longer than 4 years.

    Definitely club.

QPR by a country mile, I'm not particularly patriotic anyway and I dislike the phoney togetherness this world cup has brought. You'll notice that although England played today there was barely a whisper across social media by people who not 24 hours earlier were keen to make sure we all knew how proud they were of the lads. My personal opinion but I don't think we even played particularly well and we missed a glorious opportunity. To be fair I just don't have the passion I used to have for the England team, it's the money wots done it.

    It's a B**stard question! I started off thinking I can't choose, but I realised I do have a preference.

I love Rangers and want them to do well, but I still love them even when they're pants, so winning the Premiership would be nice - but it would be nicer if the team were local boys from West London rather than the Galacticos (I know, just leave me be...) currently in the team.

So, I guess the fact that the England team pretty much have to be English, means it would mean more to me if they won the World Cup. If only those jokers at the FA and FIFA weren't involved.

    Country - England.
