    Cedric isn't a top six player that's for sure but I guess there plenty of mid table teams that out pay us by a country mile so you can't rule out Wetspam sadly

    Fulham have not given up hope of signingMatt Targett from Southampton, Sky Sports News understands.

    The Whites have had an initial £5m offer rejected by the Saints and are yet to follow up with a second approach. Southampton are understood to want to keep Targett following his impressive stint on loan with Fulham last season.

    Sky Sports News reported earlier this summer that Targett was one of several loan players the Whites want sign on permanent deals this summer.

    £5m! What do they want to buy his boots?

    If Bertrand at LCB in the last friendly wasn't a one off (i.e Koeman) then Targett may well be our starting LWB for next season.

    I think Targett is just as good going forward as Bertrand is.

    He is a good crosser, but I don't there are many as good as Bertrand at getting to the byline. True, he did not do that as much this year.
