Well I hate to say I told you so, you only had to listen to Grayson giving interviews he was singing the praise of Nunez far too much. He handed a transfer request in because the club have treated him with **** all respect. He says he wants a new contract and never gets offered one, whilst the club sprout off in the press about wanting to keep him. The same happened with Johnson, he wanted to stay but was offered a **** contract. Beckford was offered a **** contract. Can we expect the same thing to Snodgrass, Howson, Clayton?
I'm unhappy, but not surprised. It just seemed inevitable really. We should have known that when a players contract comes up for extension it's only a matter of time before that player leaves us for pastures new. Bates's policies are plain baffling. In Simon we trust, MOT.
