Again, I disagree. Look at the areas where he is receiving the ball - in or near the box, usually with two men on him. So of course his control and distribution is going to look poor in statistical terms, because he he is doing all that under intense pressure. He does scare decent opponents, I'm 100% convinced of that.

Yeah well, fair enough. We have to agree to disagree though as I think that he cost us goals and didn't actually create or score a single one throughout. Was a waste of a shirt to be honest.
I couldn't fault his effort mind, he worked hard. I'm not having a go in that respect at all, it's just his end product was gash.
But since getting out of the group, penalty against Colombia aside you could equally say that of Harry Kane (I wouldn't, btw. But you could).
Kane scored goals though, Sterling didn't. I fully agree that Kane did the sum total of **** all during the Sweden and Croatia games though.
Sterling does a job occupying defenders. But his decision making and final ball are woeful. That said, he probably would have scored that tap in if Kane had squared it to him last night.
... then you are a prize cock sir ... you didn't just misinterpret my post, you got it completely wrong - and have therefore, at least temporarily, become EVERBODY'S HIAG
Dier didn't do anything for me. Kane bagged 6 and counting but I think he's been average. Alli played like he did for Spurs at the beginning of last season, like he's not focused enough. I think he spends too much effort looking for fights...Trippier can't be faulted he went a level up in his performances and Rose didnt get a chance.
