I do not see a thread for Australian cricket here. I have just come from five years on various cricket/sports forums. I got hooked on Test cricket when my father took myself and my brother to watch Lillee /Thommo devastate England back in 74/75. baggers
It has not been a very good three months for Australian cricket. Firstly there was the inexplicable ball tampering incident that saw our Test skipper, his deputy and our opening bat banned from the game.. again inexplicable considering the slap on the wrist punishment given to those in the past that have tried changing the look of the ball to benefit a performance. Secondly we have been humiliated in limited overs cricket by a rampant England. We play our first Tests of the new season in two months time on the hot, dusty, spin friendly tracks of the UAE. Are we in the correct head space to take on this challenge?
You may fayre better if you stop repeating the above 74/5 mauling you gave England, try and post something that is interesting to not just Convicts and you may get a better response. G'Day Bruce.
