60 days since Muir hijacked the Play Off game with his scarf PR gesture. The new season is 26 days away from starting, but hey ho ...
I predict no more than four players coming in by the season starting, and they will be 6 month loans.
Not fake news as far as I know, but third hand (at least). The logic behind what I was told sounds very plausible though.
Yep - irrelevant in the great scheme of things. All credit to Bowyer for working under these conditions, but he must be fuming.
Dawson had a great 2016-17 season for Scunthorpe United, but started only 13 games for Bury last season after 5 months out with a bad knee injury. He also was not in Bury's squad for their final 8 games of last season; presumably another injury? He has an aggressive competitive attitude to his football (somewhat like Ricky Holmes?) but Dawson is 32 now, 33 in December. I don't think many will regard him as a player of clearly better quality than what we have already, which was what Lee Bowyer said he wanted.
Duchatelet told ROT over a month ago that if the take-over dragged on for another two weeks, he would start appointing new staff. Still no takeover, still no CEO or Finance Officer, and still no budget for players next season. It seems that even the great Lee Bowyer has been infected with Duchateletitis - hence his alleged comment yesterday about a "major loan signing". Perhaps its time for CARD /CAS Trust to set Murray another one of those deadlines he so enjoys - tell us the truth by Friday about what is really going on, including the probability of Duchatelet being here come August, or we organise a proper boycott.
It can't drag on indefinitely. If the Aussies can't buy us at the moment, for whatever reason, RD needs to appoint a CFO and a CEO and also a permanent Manager. We have been in limbo too long. Perhaps another message on the OS is required.
