Sat watching TV with 4 Thai people, all started cheering when news reader reported that 2 kids are out already. I said you sure, and they said yes.
It does look like they came as a 3 but one took longer to to do the walk part after the dive and is coming out now. edit: in fact i think it is that one is slower in the second group and they are coming out in pairs.
Confirmed that 3 nearly out and 4th following. I presume they are bringing out the strongest first because of the danger of a blockage if a frail child panicked. Good news.
It says a lot for the psychological strength of these boys that they have stayed relatively calm under circumstances that would have had most of us in total meltdown. However, I expect there is a long road ahead mentally and physically. Said on Sky that muscles recover quickly, but bones and ligaments take longer. The water level has been reduced so that there are longer bits that they can walk through....all good news.
All I know is , it's about time we had some good news in this mad , sick , crazy f***ed up world we find ourselves in . Last time I had this much pride in what Mankind can do for the good , was when they rescued those miners from South America .

Donald Trump tweeted that America is working very closely with the Thai government in the cave rescue. Cue a Tom Cruise film where the Thai divers and those from elsewhere in the world are marginalised.
The Brits have been spearheading the operation. Every man and his dog this week have been on tv over here giving interviews, Americans, belgiums, French and Thai. The two guys that found the kids have been quietly keeping their heads down and doing their job. In fact the day they arrived they refused an interview walking towards the cave entrance just commenting they had a job to do. Best of British.
They also mentioned Australians as well. Said on Sky that cave divers are niche and all know each other. The Thais are good divers but not cave specialists and don't have tanks that you carry side on....back scuba gear is not always suitable. Noticeably it was a Thai diver who sadly died. Each person is working to their ability...not a time for Trump to score points.
