Boring match - I was expecting so much more. Feel for the keeper but I could have saved that.

 

Martinez brings Fella, Felni, Felannin, that big bloke with the Afro in to tighten up midfield which means de Bruyne plays further forward. Could be good, or he and Hazard could just get in each other’s way.

Brazil are of course capable of breathtaking football and have much more than just Neymar, but I would be delighted to have no further South American interest in this competition tomorrow morning.

Fact of the day. Tennis player Kim Clijsters’ dad Lei played in the 86 and 90 World Cup for Belgium as a CB. Sadly he died in 2009 at only 52.
