I think they will personally. Germans have in the past been slow starters and do enough to just get through, same as Italy. They get better as tournament progresses. I can see same happening with Belgium.
agreed. This was about when Wilmots was in charge though and played mourinhoball which is why Belgium have always looked poor and unbalanced relative to the players at their disposal
There aren't any real outstanding teams, but you can see the quality difference in them with the rest. England does have the players to progress and pose a problem to the best teams and it'll be interesting to see how they play against Colombia. On paper they have some quality, but players like Sterling and Alli really need to step it up and show it today. If not, we will have a tough time going past Colombia.
Wilmots was a fecking disaster for Belgium, at least Bobby has made Belgium look like a much better side. They have too much quality not to go far.
One of the good things about watching Japan was the complete lack of play acting. You get a kick, a wince will do. Can't say I'm looking forward to a Neymar/Hazard amateur dramatic production final.
Bloody typical i watched the fist 35 mins last night then had to go out so missed all the fun. memo to self. FFS hit the record button next time.
I said after their first game that I was starting to take a strong dislike of Neymar and it's just got stronger with each game. I can't stand all of that stuff and I hate people like him being a role model for young kids. I'm not an advocate of violence in any form usually but I'm beginning to wish someone would twat him properly just for the hell of it.
it's why when he gets injured (for psg and for brazil at last world cup) i felt mixed. Bad because he misses the most important footie of his life and i shouldn't wish injury to anyone but there was a slight pleasure in seeing him actually get properly hurt when he's normally play acting the whole ****ing time
