Wasn't it North Korea though ? I had a vinyl record (double album) of the 1966 World Cup with commentary snippets of all the quarter finals and semis as well as full commentary of theinal and remember the name Pak Do Ik as one of the scorers for Korea - I am sure it was the North though. Gonna ask Google....

Honestly, if I'm a Belgian player, or for that matter any player who comes up against a Neymar side in the forseeable, I would play him at his own game. If every player that Neymar even comes near tackling did a minimum of 7 roles on the floor whilst pissing themselves laughing, even if its about 5 seconds after hes started rolling around on the floor, take your turn. Surely even the refs are going to quietly love you for it! Then Maybe, just maybe he'll get shamed into stopping his ridiculous histrionics.

    Bah!

One thing I must say is that Belgium's winner was a work of art, a joy to watch and deserved to be a match winner, but I was absolutely gutted for the valiant Nipon warriors. They deserved something from the match.

Totally agree, that is how you hit on the break. So fast and precise, even loved the step over from Lukaku, quite sensible leaving it as he couldn't hit a barndoor all night! Very hard on Japan, but Belgium were the better side overall and I think will give Brazil a proper test.

    Bah!

Agree 100%. But what a pulsating match! Thrilling stuff. And apparently the Japanese players cleared all the litter and left the dressing room spotless - and even left a note saying 'thank you' in Russian before leaving. Neymar could learn a lesson or two in behaviour and humility from them <ok>

Sweden and Switzerland are serving up a crap game.
Nothing to fear here for Eeeeengerland.
Shaquiri looks good, but they play him too wide.

What a god awful game. That was so, so boring. Neither side did enough to win. Lucky deflection puts Sweden through.

Just nowhere near the same player in an England Shirt. Probably because he's not getting paid the money he does for City.
