I'm not as I always think he misses the bright lights of Laandan Town.

At QPR he will be a big fish in a tiny pond and be far happier. He gets found out at SAFC in bigger games for us and we aint the biggest club in the EPL either.

I dont dislike Anton as some do on here but I also wouldnt be that sad to see him go either, especially if we can recoup most of the 8m we paid and get another 40k per week off the wage bill. If thast what it takes to get Bellamy and Cisse in then hurry the **** up Brucie and Quinny.

I can only think, it frees up some wages to spend on our new star striker....

Whilst i don't think it's a good move, i'd imagine he is in the top 3 earners at the club, £8million, Keane contract.

He'd be a cracking buy for QPR, but if we are to sell, we wanna hold them to ransom, as we know they are desperate.

Cest, I am hearing the fee is £1 million pounds, which not great considering we paid 8 million. In the last year of contract and on 40k plus a week. Off the wage bill, which will allow us to free up some wages for incoming. Aparantly Bramble and Turner near to return to full fitness. Also O'shea centre half an option so, could be not such a bad thing?

    If it's £1million, that's a ****ing joke.

He's not a £1million player, he's easily worth £4million, maybe more given the desperation of QPR.

I'll be fuming if we sell for such a pittance (unless it turns out he's on 60k a week, cheers Keano you ****)

1m is a travesty. However, I didnt realise he was in his last year of contract so that explains it. Better 1m in the bank and 40k per week saved in wages I suppose. We have lots of cover here and also young Laing looks the business as well.

If he is in the last year of his contract mate then its understandable as I dont think he is a long term plan for Bruce anyway. We nearly sold him LAST window. I reckon he is on a min of 40k per week mate as welll and if it frees up money for Cisse and Bellamy, I'd take that. (2m in wages alone up to August 2012)

Turner, O shea, Brown, Laing and Bramble more than good cover.

And if we get an injury or 2, which is more than likely with the defenders we have !...what then ?

Well, let's face it, he has been inconsistent and in particular error-prone. We move on.

Swings and Roundabouts IMO..... Wes Brown £1m, Titus £1m... Out of the 3 of them, I know who I'd get shot of 1st.
Think he's had probably his best few games for us since the season began, but reckon its no co-incidence that hes been alongside Brown.
Hutton and Onohua still kicking their heels - I'd play either of them before Anton too !

As I said even before a ball was kicked this season, I felt that this season was going to be the one where Anton finally showed us all what a good defender he really is. I thought he looked excellent towards the back end of last season, and has carried that on to this... personally, I would be very sorry to see the lad go

To be fair, 5 central defensive players is as many as Man Utd have mate and they are fighting many more fronts than we are. How many do you think we can afford?

Is he on the last year of his contract?

If Enrique was worth £6mill, then I really cannot see Ferdinand being worth £4mill...
