Had an argument with a mate whose a liverpool fan last night he claimed liverpool were better i claimed arsenal With all our players back, a new leftback and midfielder i think arsenal are a dead cert for top 4, where as liverpool have spent millions on average players (henderson, downing, carrol, adam) that he claimed was proven epl players to build a team strength in depth But arn't half them players starters? so not exactly strength in depth, just average players For me, only suarez from liverpool is good enough for our team (gerrard is gonna be far to injured) So what does everyone else think?! Who is better? liverpool or Arsenal
We were better than you in the 2nd half of last season and that was before your team got weaker and we got stronger.
A lot depends on what Arsenal do today with regards to transfers but I doubt they will spend much. It's a silly argument as I doubt there is a Liverpool fan on here who would choose Arsenal.
Both average atm, but then even Arsenal have got more quality, only Suarez, Reina, Agger are of any real quality, squad is filled with average players.
Recipe for Ostkaka: Ingredients 8 cups milk, warmed 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 3/4 cake rennet tablet, dissolved in a few drops of water little salt How to make it Beat flour, sugar and eggs into a paste using 1 cup of the milk. Warm the 7 cups milk. Test it on wrist like baby's bottle test. Pour warm milk into buttered baking dish. Add rennet to warm milk, stirring slowly. Add egg mixture right away and keep stirring slowly until starts to set or thicken. (Too much stirring will make it separate.) Bake in moderate 350 degree oven, until brown and well set. This takes at least an hour.
Thankyou. I respect Arsenal more than most teams, but it's supporters like this that teams could do without.
Allowed your own opinion, how ever wrong it may be. Suarez is an obvious one, if Gerrard is fit, which he will be soon. Do you believe he is better than any of your midfielders then? Surely everyone must agree Reina is the better keeper. I do think Sagna is a great player though and probably the best right back in the league. The rest of your defence bar Vermaelen is about as good as Crewe's. Your midfield when Wilshere is back is looking stronger, but without Fabregas and Nasri is is a bit weak. The front line is still ok, well Van Persie generally does well, but Arshavin might as well not play for you anymore and Walcott can be kept out of games easy. Sagna, Vermaelen, Wilshere, Van Persie are the only players that would make it into our team in my opinion. Liverpool will finish above Arsenal this season, I am confident in this.
---------------------Reina---------------------- ----Sagna-----Agger-----Vermaelen---Enrique- ----------------Lucas--Gerrard---------------- ----Downing--------Wilshere-------Suarez----- -------------------Van Persie----------------- What a team...
I'd currently take: Reina OR Chesney Sagna Vermaelen Agger Enrique Song OR Lucas Wilshere Gerrard Kuyt RvP OR Suarez Gervinho Reina is a great shot stopper, but doesn't command his area particularly well. Chesney is young and inexperienced. The defense is self-explanatory. Song is a great, determined DM. Lucas had his best year ever last season. Kuyt is the epitome of determination, has experience and tenacity, and scores goals too. van Persie creates moments of magic, and something like 18 goals in 18 games shows you what he's capable of. Suarez looks a fantastic player. In my mind, that actually makes it 4 players per team that are winners. The others are highly debateable.
you lot spent millions on kids Reina > Szczesny Carra > Vermaelen Enrique > Gibbs Sagna = Kelly Skertl > Koscielny Gerrard > Wilshire Lucas > Frimpong Ramsey > Henderson Dowing > Rosicky Suarez > Gervinho RVP > Carroll and thats without me mentioning Kuyt, Johnson, Aurelio, Adam, Meireles, Spearing, Maxi, Shelvey or Pacheco The last time you beat us we had Degan in the side
ALL il say is I WOULD EIGHT TWO BE AN ARSENAL FAN RIGHT ABOUT NOW! and you have some balls after that performance to make such a claim, coming from a bitter blue.
