Shame about the crap weather, sandcastles have been built and seas have been paddled in off to get some food, bloody starving

I was well impressed with the castle and beach and the village of Bamburgh, going to go back another time and stop in a local hotel for a week, sounds like there's a lot to do in the area and it is gorgeous.

Went to Seahouses for a chippy, went to Pinnacle and it was ok. Probably won't bother going back though the village was rammed and the food nowt special.

Back to Chester Le Street for tea, went to Hollathans which was hotter than the seventh circle of hell, the food was nice but had to spend most of the time fanning the babs face.

And there you go, sat outside with a G&T in the evening sun, been a good do.

Great day out with the family, no doubt pictures taken and memories stored for the future.

I can think of NOTHING better.

Pleased to bits for you and yours.
