Literally walking and passing the ball a a coupe of yards at most. Poland not even attempting to get the ball as they were already 1-0. Very risky by Japan, they'd have been out had Senegal got a goal/draw
why poland? they were out anyway, won the game so if their opponent wants to pass it about happy to be 1-0 what can you do?

the thing is the groups are about scoring goals and winning games. The germans were not able to go do that.
