Yes, I was thinking that the consequences will be pretty dire if we don't go up....but here's hoping.
We should do mate. We've got money to spend. Most teams get their players free in this league. We should piss it. The championship on the other hand could be very tricky, even with a good budget.
I can't see it being a struggle in the nether regions of the league but I'm reticent to say it will be a cakewalk. There's far too many unknowns. Ultimately the size of the club has very little bearing - how good are the player who will be turning out in the shirts next year and can the manager get them to play well? The crowds can either be the biggest boost or greatest burden depending on how the season starts. You can guarantee there'll be the odd shocker of a result but overall it's just a case of getting up by hook or by crook. Early days yet.
I'm going to the St Mirren game .. tell you better about our chances after seeing the new set up at least once.
Good post....we haven't had momentum probably since Big Sam was on board. I think as it's been mentioned getting off to a good start while trying to get the players to gel will be the tricky bit. Maybe it can be done easier with players with a better attitude and are up for the fight unlike some who we are trying to clear out.....here's hoping!!!
Can’t disagree with this. Sadly (or maybe galadly) i know nothing about this league nor the players we’re signing Thing is I’m feeling good about the club for the first time in years!
There's a feel good factor around, despite the loss of Paddy to-day, Jack Ross will take us up first go.
Based on nothing more than faith in the new regime to get this right and a good gut feeling i think that we'll be up there competing for automatic promotion. There will be ups and downs and i don't think that we'll walk it but it really is a poor league and we should be up there if the owners follow up their positive talk with actions.
