Hopefully it will only be for who finishes first in the group.

    Belgium building up their confidence.

The Belgian defence does look leaky, but the attack is awesome.

    Leading 4-1 on 50 minutes.

The good news is that with the way the draw works if we get out of the group we can’t play them again until the final. Or third place play off.

They all want to score for Belgium now.

Now they have taken Hazard off and let de Bruyne play in his natural free position. I prefer de Bruyne.

It seems to make little difference finishing first or second in our group.
Finish first and we'll probably play Poland/Senagal/Japan in the last 16 and then probably Brazil in the quarters.
Finish runners up and we still play one of Poland/Senegal/Japan and then maybe Germany in the Quarters.
The tournament is so wide open though, that it doesn't really pay to look ahead, as Germany may finish 2nd and so could Brazil!!

Just heard that Hazard, Lukaku and Mertens are doubtful for the match v England on Thursday.

MartInez has said he’ll be resting players. There’s no advantage to winning this group.

Another dodgy penalty in the Korea v Mexico game. I thought handball had to be deliberate.

Vela's penalty is the 14th already in this World Cup, one more than the entire 2014 tournament.

I think it can be given if the arm is in an unnatural position or away from the body (as it was here). He didn’t get a card so the red saw it was accidental, but an arm in the air that blocks a cross doesn’t surprise me being given. Still harsh, but I get why it was given.

I think if your arm is in an unnatural position, it's deemed to be deliberate.

Just started watching Mexico - South Korea, and immediately thought ‘who is this moron doing the co-commentary?’ Turns out it’s Ian Dowie.
