Don't get the aversion to Wilshire. Can't see him coming here, but that doesn't mean that I can't see that he would be a good player for us.

 

Can't see Wilshere coming here, on a free there will be a few suitors and as we have seen in the past if other established PL teams want a player we want they usually get them.

Not disagreeing with you but this is a rebuild season in my view. Happy with mid table for one year whilst we become clear about exactly how we strengthen before pushing on next year. Really don’t see point in rushing into the market. Not saying we shouldn’t get a couple more in but need to be clear that they are better than what we have. Not another Carrillo!

saints wont sign anyone of note i doubt.
contrary to what many think saints have been one of the highest spending teams in england for a few years now
we have several flops that need selling before any new acquisitions are made i suspect is the position

 

I don't think we'll buy a CB.

 

But can we aim for mid table when there's 8 points between 8 and 18? There's aiming for Europe (Saints 16/17) and staying in the division (Saints, and the mob 17/18)

 

We could always try the current Carrillo.
