That is according to the Liverpool Echo, with concerns growing that Real Madrid are on the verge of a deal. Real themselves are in talks with Roma over a move for the Brazil international. We shouldn't be playing a game of brinkmanship over this and waiting until the last minute, imo. If the deal can't be done we need to look elsewhere.
I believe something is not right somewhere, Lyon wants to sell, Liverpool wants to buy, and it is seller's market.
