The last 2 games have had a total of 2 goals both scored in the last few minutes of the game one of them was an own goal. The last game was like watching Gillingham vs Newport County. @brb

And that's not a compliment.

You look at the likes of Saudi Arabia and Iran...

Then think the likes of Italy and Holland aren't here and it does make you wonder.

I know it's the WORLD cup. But it's a bit ****e in that way imo.

Mate, the group stages of any WC is all about watching the International equivalent of Barnet vs Stevenage.
I was quite happy with that Iran win too - just because of the sanctions etc.


Also, great comedy og <ok>

Edit; not the same without Italy's world class defending, and masterclasses in brutal tackles though.

Yeah I know but an argument could be made that the European pool should possibly have more spots...although I understand that's just European snobbery.

Isn't it changing to 64 teams soon?

Syria will probably even get a team in then.

48 countries in 2026 I believe.


Still won't be enough for Scotland though imo.
