Morning WCD, its about time the hierarchy made a serious challenge for promotion, and you know what, Radrizzani has just taken a giant step towards that goal
Morning ristac, Rad has taken a giant step towards delivering what no other Chairman has done for the last 20 years
Morning 2pennth Bielsa: "When a club with Leeds United’s history made me an offer, it was impossible to turn down. I'm excited for the challenge ahead and I look forward to collaborating with Victor, Andrea and Angus as we work hard to achieve great things at this football club.”
Morning Elland, pleased Rad has shown his hand and commitment to the club, over to Chirpy and his thoughts and more important views.
Good morning everyone! Great news and fair play to AR, Orta and Kinnear for making it happen. I can't wait to see what deals we might be able to pull off with a few of the bigger clubs in the PL because of Bielsa's influence. All aboard the 'Belgrano Express' and I notice Betfred have trimmed us into 14's this morning for the Championship in line with most of the others.
Might even go as far as to say a good morning! And to be fair it has only been two weeks. But if a week is a long time in politics then two weeks during off season in the era of social media can feel like a lifetime. But the club have done it properly in staying quiet but I'm guessing now that it's finalised the transfer announcements will not be very far behind. Still a big gamble but at least it should be a lot more entertaining than the thought of even another game with Heckingbottom
I'll quote LUFC - it's at the bottom of the announcement. Bielsa has signed a two year deal at Elland Road with the club holding an option for a further year. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/team-news/23433/marcelo-bielsa-named-head-coach
I really hope so I've (we've?) been saying that we need a no nonsense manager that is to the point and direct. Hopefully he will see the likes of Grot are not good enough and kick them out. I really hope he cuts the crap (so to speak) and stops the arty farty managerial tactis of bringing a subpar player on for the last 10 minutes etc
Yes because he is thinking big with this appointment, now Radz needs to back Biesla & allow him to get on with the job Even Radz will know last season was a total disaster, maybe he has realised you can't run a big club like Leeds United with tinpot appointments & average signings & expect to be successful. The writing was on the wall from day one !
I suspect he was horrified if he watched clips of our players last season Time for the big girl blouses to make way for some powerhouses, hopefully losing 50/50 balls, strolling around the park & players generally stealing their salaries will be a thing of the past
