'Do our business early'; 'previous seasons left it to the last minute'; 'week to 10 day things will come to fruition'; 'club judged by it's senior players'; ' I wanted to keep them, but don't get involved in the wages side'; 'we've allowed him (Abel) to be in the last year of his contract'; 'notoriously lateness of signing players'; 'I don't do the deals'; '5 hours ... c'mon we've got to get these things done' ... 'disappointed we've not done the business'; 'disappointed to have lost the players'. 26 minutes and 48 seconds of talking in circles and riddles, holding back from what he wants to say and what everyone knows he wants to say, and what everyone knows is going on. Painful to listen to. Talks an awful lot. Never directly answers the question asked. Interviewer keeps ending his sentences for him because he realises Adkins is waffling. And that's because the pennies dropped with him. Same happened with Slutsky. Shame the interviewer didn't mention anything about the parachute payments. Like Driff says, Adkins will walk at some point, never mind being at Hull City ( and he did keep on saying that didn't he ) for a long time.
Nedum Onuoha is on #hcafc's list of defensive targets this summer. Free agent, experienced, versatile. (Phil Buckingham)
I've just listened to that interview, and after careful consideration am still firmly of the opinion that Adkins is a bullshitting ****. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Classic diversionary tactic and the most obvious tactic when people are trying to avoid subjects they don't want to talk about.
Did QPR release him or did he let it run down? Seems strange to run down your contract to come here... He played 29 times in a mid to lower table team, hardly a signing to set the world on fire but he is free and would be alright.
I think Moses owed us a year. Whatever the terms. Get some football under his belt and then earn a move away from the **** storm. Or conversely, stay and negotiate an improved deal based on performances if the odious little turds are gone in 12 months time.
He's strong and decent captain material, provided he stays injury free I'd take him. I imagine he'll want decent wages though.
Irvine and now Onuoha. Are we only signing players that get red carded against us? Is Vincent Kompany next up?
Yes, because whatever he’s been offered it’ll be much more money than you or I earn, and if I’d not been able to work I’d of been up the swanny, unlike these ****s. But that is my opinion and you are welcome to yours!
I thought he looked a little bit too bulked up when we played them, and ended up getting sent off. Too much testosterone me thinks?
Not a fan of the dark chocolate ones. Always wondered why it's easier to get them in Duty Free than it is to buy them in shops.
I’m gutted about Moses as most people are. However, I think the notion he will go somewhere else and be unbelievable is a little short sighted. He’s been injured for 2 years, he tried to come back last season and got a different injury, we have no idea how strong his knee will be, I’d be very surprised if he plays more than 20 games for anyone next year. Sad really because in our promotion season he was a better player than Robertson and a bigger prospect.
He was released. He might be on our list of potential targets, but he'd have to take a massive pay cut to come to us.
I think it's only a matter of time (possibly today) that Forest tell us to "do one" while silly boy is arguing over £400,000, they are busy doing £13,000,000 deals.
