As we effectively have 4 strikers still available, I don't think they'd let us until another striker gets injured.

We have Ranger, Loven, Best and Airey all recognised as being in the first team 23. Unless a couple of them get injured there is no chance. Even then they will probably tell us to get some youngsters up.

with only 2 senior strikers as the other 2 are teenagers we should be viewed differently. or get given the chance to dip into foreign markets which are still open

Realistically we could sign someone like Aliadiere who is a free agent. Problem is he is no better than we have already. But I would rather persevere with Airey and Ranger than play a completely ineffective Best.

Take take what the FA should do, and what it does. Which is more likely to happen?

Any other league in Europe and we would be allowed an emergency loan, the FA are a ****ing joke though.

Unless you are in the top for and then you can bring in as many as you please and the FA will then turn a blind eye !!!!!!!

aye unfortunatley because we are at the top of the country we do not get tarnished with the same lavish treatment as the rest of the bastard league

Yep. They were playing Cahill up front because Saha, Yakubu, Anichebe and Vaughan(?) were injured.

Isnt gonna happen lads, you cant go to the FA and say, "well we have 3 strikers fit, but we reckon they're ****, can we have a loan?" also who would we even try to get? Cant see a better player than what we have being allowed to go out.

I'd be looking at free agents and Xisco's loan contract for a loophole.

4-5-1 from here by the look of it.

Thought so. If I'm being honest, if we got any more injuries I really wouldn't mind playing Nolan and Ireland up front with Barton, Tiote, Guthrie and Jonas in the midfield.

Luque on a free. The second coming. I used to watch him in La Liga before he signed for us and thought he was class, never really given a chance here though. I'd like to see him given the chance to put that right.

Ranger and Lovenkrands up front for the foreseeable though. <ok>

I think a good 75-80% of our goals are going to have to come from midfield so put Barton, Nolan and Ben Arfa (Ireland til he's fit) on and one striker who can hold the ball up well for them (Ranger, or possibly Best).

we could, but its a proper **** on to understand the rules haha

from what i can gather we would have to wait 7 days from when the transfer window closes to get one in, if someone did come in it has to for min of 28 days-60 days something like that, with have untill the last week of march to bring someone in, the fa would have to accept it as being an emergency......... honestly i aint got a clue......

    free agent dont matter.

I think a recall of Xisco would be more likely than an emergency loan deal. But even then, it's unlikely that will happen.

We wont be allowed I don't think. As long as we have strikers available then it wont apply. They dont take into account how good they are, just how fit they are :(

Whilst you're all going on about emergency loan. Who could we possibly get in?!!

And keep it realistic. Carroll is not going to come back to help him hometown club and gain fitness. Bellamy isn't going to come back fighting. No club is going to loan us a player who is any better than what we have now.

Might as well blood the youngsters in and hope they find a bit of form.
