not even on the bench for arsenal today...

am i just being hopeful? or plain deluded? i know the jury is out for some, but i think he would be immense, and only 23 if he arived for £7=8m would be more than pleased.

He is the best player in the world in his own eyes but average in most other peoples eyes, there are better options available like Bellamy but can we get him?

He would do for me, yes he is arrogant but I don't think he has had a fair crack of the whip at Arsenal.

I really believe he could slot in here no problem, as we aren't going to be making 50 passes then try and roll the ball into the net.

I think Bendtner would be a big hit, I think he's got it all he's tall, good in the air, skillfull and has abit of pace and can finish. He needs games and He needs to move to a club where he's a big fish. I think SAFC and Nicklas Bendtner would be a perfect match. I actually like the fact he thinks he's great, confidence is a strikers best friend. Gyan is twice the player when he's got his swag on.

Thought the asking price was about 10-12mil for him could be wrong but, far far too much for an average player tack his wage demands on top and the cost of fitting the SOL out with bigger mirrors so he can love himself more and it's a no.

Whoever Bruce brings in I just hope it gives Gyan a kick up the backside.
Gyan is a world class forward on his day. Unfortunately he looks anything but of late.

Thing is talc mate Bruce paid 8 mill for Connor and if the reports are right he wasn't expecting to play him???????

We aren't Man U who can sit on players or send them out on loan.
The players we buy should be to fill holes in the first team and actually be played.

Agree totally mate we don't have the luxury of buying players for the future or if we have lets sell the Academy as it is no use at all. I thought either Whickham or Ji would be paired with Gyan as a 2 up front but there you go apparently creating loads of chances for a non-existent front line is the way to go.

I don't mind buying potential only if its matched with experienced performers from whom you will know what you get. Bruce himself has said Whickam and Ji are for the next 18 months to 2 years, which is folly because if he can't get us scoring its possible he won't be here in 6 months time. So in the basis of Whickam (who only played something like 20 games for Ipsiwch last season) costing 8 million, a young 23 year old Bendtner, who has scored in both the premier league and champions league, would easily be priced around 10-12 million. I don't see the problem in that. I would have him here as he could be for both the here and now and the future judging by his age. BUT- he rates himself too highly to come to us. I'm sure he would rather go abroad and at least be vying for trophies in whatever league he goes too.
