    Probably true but we've seen with constant Carlton Cole links that press look at players the manager has signed in the past.

    Agree. Still one of the most naturally talented players in the PL (regardless of age). Think we have lost the plot if we don't think this guy is good enough for us. I reckon he will end up at Spurs though as a make-weight when Modric goes to Chelsea.
