I see William haggas has a runner for Her Royal Highness tomorrow over (CALL TO MIND) at Belmont in the 2m invitational. Currently 11/8 fav - she can’t have had many runners let alone ever had a winner over the other side of the Atlantic Ocean?!?
Arthur Mcbride a big price in the 7.05 Goodwood 12/1 Ew a Twiston Davies runner who has course form of 131 and has had a run too so will come on for that! Looks a good place prospect for me!
Only eight rides at the track in the past five years producing a healthy three winners. Surely wont be beating the Buzz though.............
Hunter chase card at Stratford this evening to sustain us NH fans through the long summer months. In the second race you can get 8/1 for Velvet Maker who on ratings (143) should be a shoe in. However this poor horse is handicapped by the a certain Mr Maxwell in the saddle. This fellow rides his own horses and has some with Paul Nichols. It always makes me smile when I see Nicholls describe Mr Maxwell as enthusiastic when assessing the chances of one of his rides in his daily blog. What he actually means is ****. This fella could stop a runaway train. I am drawn to to those horses trained by a fine Shropshire gent by the name of Phillip Rowley and will have a little ew multiple on his for interest. Now watch Mr D Maxwell ride a treble!
Then scuttling down the road for two at Gooders. And I keep being drawn to his first one - Shraaoh in the 7-05 - without really knowing why. I looked at this race last night after saintkitch asked for tips at this meeting. I feel like the favourite, Sky Eagle is the one to be on, but ........... Top weight, over 14f, with the dubious benefits of a Frank ride - should be enough to put me off, yet he ran a creditable race on his debut for Harry Fry lto, and if able to build on that, could be the shrewd choice. Edit: Just seen your post in POTY Stickler - hope I haven't jinxed it for you!
Hope he does better in that race than the one he has just raced in, in typical Spencer fashion stone last .
4.30 arcane dancer 8/1 and also think lots ov at 33/1 is overpriced so them two for me Sent from my F3111 using Tapatalk
Pocket talk but Dobbs should be f-cking shot for that ride on Braemar. Why go up the inside knowing that horse will go over to the rail because of the nature of that course. Clearly would have won. What a knob.
evening fellas!hows things?? well,as i stated in my first post,i am more into jumps than flat racing,so stratford is my main port of call this evening.here is my verdict for the 5 35: my first thought here was cartmel scorer refusal, who showed great courage to win there last time out,but he also had a hard race there, and that rather puts me off. PIQUE ROCK,though, looks a very progressive, young mare, and the mares allowance is surely a help.so,should be firmly involved here..
