Quite a few rumours going around on twitter about us getting Muntari from inter (i know this is n't a reliable source) But what would people think of him on loan, personally i don't think we need him in the centre but him and tiote would be fearsome in the centre. Also with the Santon talks on going it could be possible that we have discussed deals for more than one Inter player!

Was at Sunderland last season on loan, and as far as I know, he did **** all.

Dont see why we would. Looked average at Sunderland, very high wages and we have Tiote and Cabaye already.

Yeh whenever i saw him playing for Sunderland he was ****e, used to be a canny player but hasn't been all that in recent years. It would stick to the theme of going for players in positions we don't need though<doh>

True. LB and striker for now, they are essential. Luxuries like a new RB and wingers can wait til January (if it means we dont get LB/striker in).

We don't need him, Tiote and Cabaye are first choice CM's, and Guthrie, Gosling, Abeid and Vuckic all provide able cover.

If it was reasonable price & wages I'd be very happy with him signing

Would he not be off to the ACoN in Jan? Would be a pointless loan if you ask me.

I would be a lot happier with Benayoun on loan that Muntari, but i presume he would be on crazy money

    And Shola.

Anyone know if Sammy is eligible for Nigeria?

Pretty sure Sammy chose to before shola didn't he?

Wouldn't like to sign Muntari. Seams a little pointless to be honest. I'd rather vuckic and co got more of a run out.

Pointless, if we are going to sign another player it may as well be an out and out left back or right back depending on where Pardew plans to play Santon. Two quality full backs and a new striker are priority not another DM

He did **** all at Sunderland but was ace for Portsmouth - think it could be a shrewd bit of business. I think that loan would be the only option and best for us.

Could play him centre mid, defensive mid or even attacking mid, left mid. So a great option to have IMO
