A lady in Halifax Bank in 'No Point' centre told me her son has just signed pro-forms for City...He's a keeper. He'll be in the 1st team come August, mark me words! I told her.. The odd thing is. She agreed!

I think we will have the same season as last time out. Hover above the bottom three, flirt with relegation then pull clear once we replace the manager. We've still got some decent talent, even if Grosicki, Bowen and Clark leave.

Nah nige will stay. He'll get in some cheap players he wants and mould them into a team. Mid to lower. Were scunny mk2. He'll have done a good job too.

Scunthorpe went down eventually. I don't think it'll get that bad. But you're right about the lower mid-table bit, a bit of obscurity for the next few years.

Villa's financial woes will probably hinder Moses's move there, the lad may have no option now but to stay. In addition I think Bruce's days are numbered he will inherently be made a scapegoat for the Villas good Doctor throwing that amount of cash around in the championship and failing

That’s a crazy statement if I ever heard one

We’ve lost the experienced spine of our team and our only quality striker

    We have no defence

    A confidence shot goalkeeper

    Barely any wingers

And owners who will get away with as much piss taking as they can sorry but can’t see anything but relegation

I'm going to have to disagree, FC didn't have the greatest season but he's a very good quality forward at this level.

We have removed weak vertebrae from the spine.

We have Kingsley, McDonald and Mazuch.

Marshall is better than Buffon IMO.

Bowen and Grosicki, as good a first choice pair as any in the championship.

The owners could hire a private militia to enter the stadium and eradicate all Hull City fans and they'd be meted by a barrage of stress balls.

... not forgetting that we'll likely loose Grosiki and Bowen before the season starts.
Without new owners we are down. Nailed on.

The 'a bit of obscurity for the next few years' Just about summed up City's for our first 100 years in existence.

Well I am assuming we will make some signings before the season gets under way to fill the obvious squad gaps. If Clark and Odubajo go and we genuinely do go into the first half of the season with three senior defenders (Mazuch, MacDonald, Kingsley) then I agree we are ****ed.

I think you are wrong about Marshall, he will be fine.

And as others have commented, we still have plenty of experienced players. They just aren’t yet gelled into a team.

IN-DEMAND Hull City defender Max Clark is set to decide on his future amid rival interest from a number of Championship clubs. Nottingham Forest and Millwall are among several sides who are eyeing a move for the full-back, with Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem - managed by former Tigers manager Leonid Slutsky - also keen.

A three-year deal remains on the table for Clark, who turned down a contract last September, with his future very much up in the air.

Do one whilst there's some interest Max. In better circumstances I'd love you to stay, but you're at a club in decline.

Come back when we're rid of the Allams.

I'd suggest Forrest as they seem to be ambitious.

Our relegation odds have just been cut from 6/1 to 7/2, we're now second favourites.

Is the YP really suggesting that City have offered Clark a three year contract? Seems far fetched.

Probably 2 with a 3rd as an option. It seems the norm for City.

£4K a week for a kid who is just making his first team football regularly is ok. Ask Josh Tymon.
