I think he's more pissed off because Doris has been diagnosed with a nut allergy.

Nut allergy aside Sparkey pal, I will bet that in the very first minute of the very first game....a player will be chopped to the ground...in a Ron Harris style scissors kick! That will set the tone for the whole event! Usually carnage....although I note Holland and Italy not involved! :emoticon-0103-cool:

<party>Masky’s right thou knows! <party>Why is Sparky always on about his nuts?

Ahh.....Chopper Harris - now there's a player's player I had the privilige to watch at SB. Just entering my teens when I first saw him cripple Eddie Gray in the '70 Cup Final on the box and then got to watch him loads of times in real life a few years later.

Osgood and Hudson were the class - Chopper was the steel. Sexton ****ed the team up and they were never the same force again after the mid 70's.

With regards the nuts Masky - mine are still attached and it looks like yours are on the fence.......<laugh>

Dave Sexton had to ring Ron Harris's wife with some bad news after one particular game....'Bad news love....Ron's broken a leg' .Her reply was 'Whose?'.

Recall Glenn Loovens dispatching a 16 year old Theo Walcott at Ninian but nothing compared to some x rated tackles by Phil Dwyer:emoticon-0146-punch. Him sorting out that cheating Joe Jordan in 1st minute in Wales v Scotland at Ninian top of the list:emoticon-0148-yes:

That Leeds v Chelsea cup final replay in 1970 was carnage. Players got away with some atrocious fouls.

Mel Sutton "imposing himself" on a young Trevor Francis at St. Andrews, 1969 I think, was worth watching. 40,000 Brummies chanting "Animal animal" at Mel in response.

Mel Sutton, that's a blast from the past.

A shot from our Mel could break the onion bag or the corner flag !! <yikes>

We used to call him Sell Mutton. <doh>
