Yes, I'm moderately chuffed at that result too, best I've ever managed in the Oaks, the Indian for a slap-up on Sunday I guess!

Great shout drewer - it is probably just easier to concentrate on the O Brien horses in the Classics!
Of course I backed the Moore horse<doh>

I cannot say that I was impressed by Cracksman, so the jury is definitely out. Had the running rail not been there, I think he would have kept hanging right and Silvestre de Sousa would now be the man everyone wanted to book to ride against Anthony Oppenheimer’s top colts – remember who was on Arabian Queen in 2015.

Cracksman may have won Group 1s in his last three starts, by good margins twice, but what has he actually beaten?

Thanks Oddy, the one winner really is our Indian, as that's mostly where any winnings I might have go! Great guys there, we are far from their best customers but they treat us like royalty. Great too to talk cricket with them, real authority on the game is the governor. Oh, in passing, Tegernsee didn't turn up this week at our Edeka, so I got me a selection which will include a couple of tests. Will let you know the results next week. :emoticon-0100-smile <cheers>

why ron ? these are animals , they aren't machines , or there would be no racing / gambling , with clive coxs , they often win after a break , perhaps they don't improve incrementally , harry angel both ascot runs have come after previous wins , both times he's been beat .....

    hi all!

    goodwood,6 40

well, experience counts a lot in these races,so this might be fought out by POGO and main edition, and the former was beaten by a probably serious rival on his debut,so can go one better today..

With one to go, I've only had 2 seconds and a third. Bit of a disaster, but I think the dead ground had a lot to do with it. I'll deffo leave these till we get decent ground.
