Seemingly such a large fee that we asked Lancer Scott to terminate the existing deal early. Apparently it's a Malaysian betting site and has been tied up since the time of the Man Utd/Man City games.

Not the best idea to have a betting site sponsoring us on a moral level but football is football and if it's that large an offer it would be daft to turn our nose up at it.

I thought the leagues had some issue with betting sites being sponsors of anything including shirts. It's one of biggest moans when all I see are betting sites being involved around the grounds, especially overseas companies, and it will eventually lead to corruption and fraud concerns if indeed they haven't already started. Has all the integrity gone out of the game or is it just me wanting to see some better decisions on behalf of the league? Still I suppose it could get worse and before we know it perhaps some young ill informed international players could be wearing tattoo advertising for AK47's.

The league is ****ed then with Stoke seeing as they are owned by one of the betting companies.

I'm fairly certain lots of clubs are owned by people/companies who then end up sponsoring them. Newcastle/Sports Direct and PSG/Qatar Airways spring to mind (that second one may not be true, I'm unsure).

When they said 'international' I immediately thought travel agent!

...Maybe our beating Man Utd in the Cup had something to do with it - has anyone watched highlights from foreign TV? It's a bit like The Fast Show!

Think you’re correct regarding Qatar airways and PSG. Isn’t that the link between Platini who’s brother or brother in law is something to do with PSG and his backing of the Qatar World Cup.

    Hey Sparrow, I think it's a slang abreviation of "down under" - maybe that's where they're going........<laugh><laugh>

Dont be rude Sparkey. The local rag here (Bristol Post) seem very impressed with this big named international company (that absolutely no one has ever heard of because they are based in Malta) because Dunder employs a whole 20 members of staff!!<laugh>

City reveals Dunder as new shirt sponsor
    Friday, June 1st 2018

Bristol City is pleased to reveal that Dunder, one of the fastest-growing online casino companies in the world, is its new front of shirt sponsor.

Launched in 2016 by two Swedish casino enthusiasts, Dunder has become known as one of the most innovative online casino companies, with a focus on simplicity, fairness and making gaming fun with its player-first approach.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Bristol City. Last year’s fantastic Carabao Cup run really captured both ours and the UK public’s imagination,” said Adam Webber, Dunder’s head of acquisition.

“After meeting the club and seeing first hand how the team played against Manchester United and Manchester City in the cup, it felt a great fit to our company ethos in doing things the right way. This along with the strong sense of community involvement and passion, really stood out from the start.

“We at Dunder are very excited about what this venture will bring as we sincerely believe our investment will be able to make a significant contribution to the club achieving its long-term aspiration of playing in the Premier League. We want to invest not just in City but in the wider Bristol community as well.”

Bristol Sport’s group head of commercial, Caroline Herbert, said: “We are delighted that Dunder has joined our sporting group as City's principal partner. Our thanks to Lancer Scott, who agreed to step down and allow us to take this opportunity of attracting an international company’s investment, which we hope will help City continue to grow and build on the successes of last season.

"Our shared values alongside Dunder’s commitment to promoting responsible gambling and investing in the community will ensure that this partnership is a huge positive for City. We are very much looking forward to what the 2018/19 campaign will bring."

They must have paid a good amount to get this sponsorship that's for sure. Money used from gamblers misfortunes, probably money from those who suffer with addictions.

I for one could barely give two s**ts who our sponsors are. If it's more money in then it's a good thing.

It’s more than what Bristol rovers have received from shirt sponsors in the last 30 Year’s <laugh> also try not to take the moral high ground whilst playing in a league sponsored by the biggest online betting app in the country <laugh>

Dunder have gotten just what they wanted. Nobody had ever heard of them and now even sags know just who they are. No doubt had more traffic to their site today than they have had all year. Thanks for all that money you life destroying bastards <laugh>

Here we go again..... BITE <laugh>

Hope all is well with you Shiny <ok>

Im dreading what shirt sponsors we will get for the new season. Usually they do the raffle which has provided a lot of money per season. But the raffle this season didnt include the shirt sponsors so we still got all this to come and will probably end up with something micky mouse looking :(
I dont even know the date when we will find out!
