Sorry guys, but funds are now short at St Mary's. I have now spotted that the club took the money for our three season tickets twice from my account. I have been on to the club and they have agreed and now refunded the money. The £1,180 is now back safely where it belongs. I did make one last offer to delay the re-payment if it was needed toward a new striker or CB, but the club decided it should be refunded in full now. I am sorry if we now can't make any signings; my fault.
Well Fran, don't come on here and start having a pot at me.... I offered to delay the re-payment. I was clear about that, very clear. If it was for a CB or Striker they could have delayed. They chose not to, not me! If he changes his mind, he knows where I am
Ha Ha! I didn't point out it's because I've just sold my house and moving out to one of the villages. I want to be posh like you Dark Lord... can't afford Nether Heyford though
You could of held off until the transfer window closes at least....fatletiss.......Or allowed them to pay you so much a week.....that way they just might have been able to afford at least someone......really uncivil of you......and you call yourself a fan...........
Oh Boy! All through the negotiations, I kept re-iterating my offer to delay, but it was not taken up. The menacing way one of the Italian blokes in the background was looking at me didn't make for a particularly cordial meeting either. I could have asked for interest; they'd had that money since the 15th July. I could have asked for a cuddly Sammy Saint as part of the interest payment, but I let it go..... just no pleasing some people.
I would have thought that the car park charges would have meant we could at least get part of a new CB.
The club should of given you an initial refund of £500 rising to the £1,180 based on appearances. Mis-Management of the highest order!
they offered that, but I knew I would be unavailable for the Millwall game, so that would mean an extra week til I got the full amount, so I refused the stage payment approach. I said quite simply, that if itwas £1,180 in value then they should pay the full value and none of this staged payment upon reaching certain appearances, eating so many hot dogs and drinking so many hot chocolates on match day. I think they were secretly relieved that I turned down the "how many hot dogs can you eat" offer, as they proposed this on the phone before actually seeing me and realising they may have gone bankrupt with that one!
