used to be mint, regular posters having Banter Then the how dare you mod this site Then when I was a mod I would have done it differently The above is a really big point This forum is really close to dead You look in from month to month and you **** off Mods let it die or ban
Taken much more of an interest lately with the take over but the place seems fine. Not very busy but everyone is getting on.
Granted it's lost a bit of the daft humour that it was known for but it's far from dead and will get busier next season. This isn't the time for doom and gloom, the opposite is more appropriate.
I'm not sure what your saying about the mods mate. Whether they're doing too little or too much. I haven't noticed anything for them to deal with in many a month now. Everyone's getting along just fine. There's not been much to talk about on the football front for a while now but this place will pick up after the summer when the season starts again. And after Ross has built his new squad there'll be plenty of comments and arguments going on. Hope Pops is picking up as well mate.
Think it's more to do with the fact that we've been relegated two years in a row. People are quiet/gone. There used to be banter but there used to be a **** load more drama too. I don't miss all of that national front **** that was creeping in in a big big way.
I’m a prime culprit, I suppose - my new job has deffo resulted in me being online much less. That coupled with a terrible start to 2018 with regards to family issues has rendered me a passing ship when it comes to NOT606. I still miss the 0300 chats with Bri, Tees, 83, Billy & the odd other poster and I’m sure the forum will perk up again once the transfer in/outs start to happen and when the season starts! I think the long term regular posters on here should be very proud of themselves as it’s them who have kept this forum alive and given us ‘part-timers’ a lot of laughs Ha’way the Lads
Well I’m no different I post as well as I feel nessesary The forum is fine for me it gives me info. The banter is good We have lost a few good posters apparently they are on the premiership forum But I’m happy with the way things are long may this forum continue
There's only me, Comm and Saf, and Haslam posting on the PL from here mate. I'm 50/50 and I see Haslam on here as well. Comm and Saf will be back and this place will pick up again soon enough. It's not the wild west like it was before but I've no worries about this forum.
Rings a bell with me. A good run this season will cetainly bring more posts. I read more than I post, daily (often more). Deffo agree about the tone of some of off topics. KTF
Although I miss the piss taking days of old that used to make me cry with laughter, the forum continues to tick along nicely. I view the forum several times a day, but might not post anything for a while. That doesn't mean that I don't care about it. Like many others, I had the enthusiasm and love of the game beaten out of me by the last three years of utter dross served up on and off the pitch. I'm hoping to be much more active next season and just for once, I'm going to KTF that we will gradually improve in all areas of the club.
Don't see anything wrong with the place at the moment. Nobody is bullying about the place and there's posters putting solid time into this place, whether it be match threads, predictions, thread starting or simply commenting regularly. So long as people are committed and people are getting along don't see the problem.
Bit of recruitment wouldn't be so bad though. Have the mods thought about getting the twitter account active to lure some new heads?
We have lost some big posters in the time I have been on here, maybe the pain has been too much for some. Talking about the team here.
