In my opinion a load of bollocks, why would he invite some random guy into the chairmans suite?! However with the recent rumblings of Santon & Pieters you never know, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

No way would Llambias invite people in. To go from an annoying evil mouse to a caring person who takes random people off the street, doubt it.

The bloke claims to have done business with him, now I assume that if you are doing business with the chairman of Newcastle United and Managing Director of many casinos, that he would be pretty high up in business and would have been well educated, enough to know that you start a sentence with a capital letter.

I have heard from a reliable mate, that once Barton was out they would be bringing 3 players in. But we'll wait and see.

 

Thursday morning is the time to judge the clubs progress in the transfer window.

 

I'm not for one moment saying this could be true, but IF it was, and we were signing Santon AND Pieters, I would be a very happy man! Simpson has been more of a weak spot than Raylor at times for me so for this season. Then hopefully bring in a striker to play with Best until Ben Arfa is back and then pick our best striker.

I know the guy that posted this as he went with my cousin they work in a casino in town and hit the bars in town regularly so i think that's how they met him. But my cousin did meet Lambias last week with Ian and were invited to the fulham game. Apparently the prawn sarnies were tasty. Also there were pasties from Greggs

Basically Fat Mike got bored and on his pc at 3 am again.

I have no doubt in my mind we are trying to sign players at the moment. The point is though we trade like Everton or Arsenal these days. We start bidding at 600k and then up it to a 1 for a 3 mio player. And then it's like oh well, we tried, but they didn't want to deal. it's all these mad trades that have happened recently. Five years ago getting 6 mio for José Enrique would have been a good deal (same as we paid I believe) but nowadays, it feels more like we should be getting at least ten million. Hell, Lescott went for 24 mio. Then Gary Cahill is worth 35 no?

NUFC is lower down the food chain these days. What I don't understand though is we should have stared looking at leftbacks in july, not late august.

 

Cahill's only got a year on his contract
