On the CB & particularly forward positions we need to offload as well in fact upfront may need that first due to wage budget.

    Yes I totally agree.

    Some have to go.

Klavan is one CB out. Then we have 4 senior CBS including gomez. maybe room for one.
I think if fekir and keita arrive then we have too many no 8s. Even with Can going. no 6 is an issue
I certainly think sturridge is a big one and there's no good way to shift the guy. I think there's a case for ings to move for his own sake too.

My view is next year we must have adequate cover for the front 3 and henderson and that would be my priority, i would like to see the quality that comes in pushing the front 3 for a place and same for henderson.

If we can't find someone to push henderson and mane out of the team we won't improve again.

Upfront we have on our books
    Sturridge
    Salah
    Mane
    Firminho
    Ings
    Origi
    Solanke
    Markovich

and you can possibly include Wilson, Woodburn in that list.
I think Ings will go as i think there will be buyers the others i'm nowhere near so certain.

I would like us to be patient with Ings, he looks a decent player.

think both him and the club will think it is best for him to move on for more game time.

    Wish him well.

**** happens. We paid him 60k a week every week he was injured and looked after him and he seems a hard working and nice lad so surely its better try play somewhere in the prem (like southampton who need a striker or back to burnley) and he might get close to england team again

It's fair to say we've already been patient. Good player but not good enough and too much of an injury risk for our style of play.

He'd do well for a midtable team and should move for his own sake.

I like Ings too but he seems to be prone to long term injuries. I think he will have a decent career if he stays fit, but my vote now is to sell him.

Yeah. Klopp wants forwards who can play anywhere across the line. Ings is pointless out wide - he needs to be in the box. It's not that he's a bad player, just that he doesn't fit our set-up.

Will this affect his place/performance in the UCL final?

This has been known for the last 12 months near enough. Won’t make any difference

I reckon he'll be on the bench, he's travelled with the team so Klopp is seeing him as an option.

Pretty much been known for the whole season. He won't be starting in the final either, a bench option if needed

Can’t see Can starting but a good option to come off the bench to preserve our 3 goal lead.

Would we really make a substitution in the first 10 minutes of the game though?

I can see Sturridge, markovic, Migs and Moreno as almost definite to be leaving but I would add Ings to that list.
