Spent loads? Man City or Spurs? Spurs have spent barely money of late. Sunderland have spent more in the last few years.

I have a soft spot for spurs and some people have problem Redknapp? What has he done wrong? He's amusing in his press conferences and seems a nice guy. It wasn't him who took us down, it was Lowe.

@saintadam1981 - They deserve it? I don't think so. Their fans have turned into proper ****ers since they have had huge investment. They are like Newcastle fans. "We're a big club blah blah". If they were humble in whats happened to them like most saints fans have been then yeah good luck to them. But no. They copy that gay goal celebration and treat it like it's theirs <doh>

Loving the fact Arsenal are getting stuffed though. I really don't like Wenger. He's got more senile over the last few years. I bet you he thinks it's harsh that Arshavin has a booking and Evans wasn't sent off.

Just can't believe a Saints fan can feel that way about bagpuss, he got us relegated, he then left to save our local rivals from relegation, stating he never had any feelings for Southampton, he's a thief, tax evader, blows his own trumpet every day in he press, he makes me feel sick.
he thumbs up at milan after the 4-1 at fratton, bringing his crocked son in for a final pay day, everything he did at saints was a sham

To be fair to him he left regular first team football in the championship to come on as a sub against Man Utd in the league.

5.1 tough game to come on. He can't be blamed but much nicer to come on when your team is winning easily.

Redknapp is a chequebook manager, so most of the players he buys are motivated only by money. So no surprise when they soon want out when they smell the club in trouble or they get a better offer. Harry shows no loyalty to his clubs, so why should his players?

CBK. I disagree. Anyone would have left Pompey knowing the mess they were in. He was loyal to West Ham and got shafted. I bet Lowe gave empty promises to Redknapp. He was given barely any money when he took over saints. We got closer to staying up than I thought we would.

Redknapp was partly responsible for the mess Pompey got into. Pissing away money on agents and dodgy signings and wages he must have known the club couldn't afford. And when the **** hit the fan, he ****ed off as soon as he could.

Loyal to West Ham? Suggest you read the book by the West Ham fan about Redknapp and Peter Storrie and how the allegedly made money out of selling Rio Ferdinand and a few other players.

Don't get me started about what he didn't do at Saints even taking into account the farce with Lowe & Woodward etc. As an example, when we played Pompey at Fratton, in the changing room before hand Redknapp told the players "to go easy". He was more worried about his own reputation than getting a result for Saints.

Yep, absolutely. Anything to make a change from the status quo. In fact, I think it would be great for football in general if say, the top six clubs found themselves relegated over the next couple of seasons, for various reasons, and then had a hard time getting back. It would also be an experience to see those so-called fans leaving their various football shirts at home; seeing the football media coping without the various stories of their football darlings; seeing the various celebrities suddenly NOT following whoever is the top team.

When the Premier League was started there was always the chance that it would thin out the teams, because it started a richest clubs league. And they tend to be few. In that scenario, you can't blame Man City for being the moneybags, because ultimately that's the way to win. Let's face it, ManU spend plenty when they need to. They just don't do it all in one go.

If Bale, Modric, Kranjcar and Van der Vaart were at Man Utd you'd call them favourites to win the League, but Redknapp won't take them to the top 4. He's a wheeler dealer and he knows it. Don't say it to his face though because he'll tell you to fark orf.
