    West Ham and the Mags are similar clubs in many respects, both with a decent fan base, owners and ambition (or lack of it). Dare say managing in London might be a big pull for the Spanish waiter after his time at Chelsea.

    Both clubs expect better things because they get big gates.

    West Ham are just never happy because the managers never play the “West Ham way”, whatever that is!

    Apart from domestic trophies Benitez is the only manager to have won UEFA Europa Cup UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup. Not bad for someone dismissed as a Spanish waiter.
