Moses Odubajo was one of the most complete English talents before two devastating knee injuries halted his rise... after hitting rock bottom, he is ready for another shot at the big time... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.da...t-big-time-two-devastating-knee-injuries.html
Fernando Torres is also available , same age as Clayton Donaldson ~ though Donaldson may seem a more attractive lure to HeHeHab ...
I imagine Donaldson signing would be akin to the time we signed an ageing Dele Adebola for some reason.
The club has turn down 2 offers for Clark, and have revised their original offer but with the same money. One assumes that if he decided to leave, then it will just go to the tribunal to set the compensation fee. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/hull-city-max-clark-contract-1593508
We have no right to turn the offers down? He signs a contract with someone else he will be off and it will go to tribunal.
I'm sure we have the right to turn down an offer if it is not good enough. We can't stop him leaving that is his decision, but we can either accept the offer or let it go to tribunal.
It seems we're not trying to keep him, we're just making sure we secure the best possible fee/compensation for him. Bye Max and good luck.
Josh Clackstone aiming to prove Hull City wrong after seven special years with his hometown club The Beverley-born defender has been released by the Tigers, the club he first joined at the age of 14 https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...ews/josh-clackstone-aiming-prove-hull-1593355 Excellent piece and Josh sounds like he's got his head screwed on, good luck to him.
I believe the "retain" list was never about securing players to build a solid foundation to recruit on top of in the summer, only serving to act as a vehicle to recoup money on their sale. Sad times indeed
I don't really understand Vitesse Arnhem bidding much for Clark, academy compensation for players moving abroad is absolutely tiny, if he goes there, we'll get nowhere near £400k.
If we didn't have such a ridiculously small squad, or know we have funds to buy a left back I wouldn't be concerned. He grafts, gets stuck in and is reasonable on the ball. But he lacks pace, if often caught out of position Would be interesting to see what his contract offer is
