I f we sign Coates, I think the defence looks very solid regards coverin injuries and suspensions

Both with the likes of Ngog and Cole likely to leave, because they there arnt good enough to even make the bench, for where we are now and were we wanna be

I really feel we need one more attackin player before wednesday

Yesterday we only had Maxi ,Carroll on the bench and we only had Meireles,Stevie unavailable ,so I think 1 more (maybe 2 ) attackin signing is necessary

I also dont think it matters too much whether its a wide man or striker,as Dirk can play both roles equally well.Bellamy maybe, but it looks like Spurs are sniffin round him also

Another rumours Ive heard today who I think would be an excellent signing would be Vargas(searing pace), very classy winger. He would be an excellent signing, if true

I think it depends on if we sell Cole, Poulson, Degan & Jones to raise some money. I think Coates will be the last singing unless we get rid of a few other players. Hopefully these guys realise they have no future and no chance of playing so will be happy to move on rather than just sitting in the stands and picking up their salaries.

Struggling to see who we would be able to bring in for 6-10mil that would be a decent back up? Rodellega maybe? Or go abroad and take a punt on someone?

We need another quality winger. Johnson from city on loan springs to mind.

You won't get anyone good from within the PL for under £15M.

Is it not possible that we may yet be in for another super surprising transfer deadline day?

Afellay? When was he mentioned? He could be a quality back up.

He is a player I rate, and I don't think we should hang around for others to bid too, just get him in for around 7 mil * barca bought him for 2.3 or something like that!!!!* and we have wide options to play with.

I wasn't really bothered by deadline day because I thought we wouldn't be involved. But, you never know...

Get Kuyt to give him a call. Talking of dutch... Word on the Arsenal board, we are in for a £30m bid for RVP. How funny would that be?

Ya I thought the same when linked with Affelay. RVP? really? would like him but that much? hmmm. If that happened they can kiss top 6 goodbye! I think Modric, VDV, and Bale are looking for some exit signs as well....

VDV openly admitted that he chose Spurs over us simply because they offered CL football, so he can **** right off. Modric has eyes on Chelsea and Spurs have a worse Win % with him than without (alarm bells there). Bale, he is yet to convince me. If 'Arry is expecting £30m+ for this overhyped 'world beater' then he can **** off too. VDV at £30m is a bit steep for an injury prone striker, but he is good and we have plenty of options if he were to get injured. I think I prefer the cheaper option of Afellay out of al this though!

wait wait, I wasn;t implying WE go after them, I just think they are all looking for exits as the Spurs in Europe didn't work out so well. VDV to Arsenal I can see, Bale will stay put till the following year, Modric gone pronto to chelsea me thinks. I would take affelay over them all.
