That lot couldn't aford to buy Coventry last season https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/who-gerard-murphy-philip-aiken-12966086
Where does it say anything about couldn't afford? I've never heard anything about SISU putting Coventry up for sale, you Naughty Spanner, you.
I see Lord Lucan of Deptford is back, after a period of convalescence. For someone who’s teams arse exploded like mine after a Chicken Madras - you are full of it
At least the Aussie/London consortium would be more popular than Duchalet - but out of interest, which one of the key players would you like as your new Chairman? Gerald Murphy. Philip Aitken (met him and he's a nice bloke) or Simon Jordan? Only one of them has the experience of running a football club!!
The latest rumour is that Man City’s reported £6m interest in our Under 17 starlet is causing a complication. Did Muir turn up at the Play Offs in order to put visible pressure on the Virus to get the deal done ? Look how quickly the Wigan takeover was completed in comparison to this farce. The Virus’ final malign parting gift could be to drag this out even further, and ruin our summer pre season. There is so much rebuilding that need to be done, and quickly.
What I don't understand is that dragging it out is costing Duchatelet between 800000 to 1 Million pounds a month. At the end of this month another amount goes out. If we aren't taken over in the next month you might as well right next season off. So much to do and so little time to do it. The released list of players comes out today. I presume it will be Development players and Kashi, who is out of contract.
All the whilst we have no CEO and FO they are selling. Worry people if Duchatelet appoints a CEO, he'd then be looking to stay.
Just as a general observation, I am not very comfortable with the notion of a fifteen year old being 'traded' for a multi-million pound sum. Are there not regulations in place to prevent this kind of thing going on where very young players are involved? Apologies for this being slightly off-topic, but if it is holding up the take over I guess it is relevant.
Aussies expect to complete #cafc takeover in next two to three weeks maximum, depending on timescale for EFL approval. The latest from Rick Everitt. I have to say I have heard it all before.
Everitt has nicked that directly from Rich Cawley - almost word for word. Cawley said he asked the question of the club yesterday #IKnewFirst
I went past the training ground this morning.... it looks like a beach with golden sand as far as the eye can see relaying the U18 and first team training pitches.... somebody is still spending money on the club from somewhere?
That's where the Sunderland take over is in terms of progress and thats in he public domain at this time... This RE news looks bogus on that basis?
