Bedrock, what do you think of Fergie's comments that Lee Tomlin is better than CMS and Mclean?

Blimey surprised at that, thought they had some good Championship players like Andrews and Chopra.

CMS one of the heroes of the League Cup this week, along with Sammy.

Tomlin can be anything he wants, just needs to control his temper, from playing in the BSQ to the Championship in such a short time he's done well not an out and out striker like CMS and McLean prefers to play deeper
The player who's impressed me this season is Paul Taylor his first season at this level and a better finisher than CMS better ball control just needs to get match fit and he'll be our next legend .......

They were resinged to losing him, he was too good for the club and had 1 year of his contract left. No one blames anyone for him leaving, and he is still loved by the Posh faithful, as shown by his reception in the Brighton game.

AB wasn't a case of Fergie letting CMS go, CMS said he would not sign another contract with us and he only had 12 months left so we really had to cash in, no one at Posh, club and supporters begrudged CMS a move he'd given his all for us in four and a half seasons he'll always be a Posh legend and yesterday he was brilliant to us Poshies coming on applauding us at the start and at the end of the game

    We all love CMS....

Yes, he was a good servant to the club. Hard act to follow.

Like him or not young Fergie and Posh fit, he gets us playing good football, he's not the miserable guy he looks will always have word with the fans and attends the independant Posh supporyers q&a sessions
Just glad DMac was able to be man enough (and Fergie) to let bygone be bygone's

Anyway enough of Posh sorry the way the thread has gone, tell me what are your expectations this season after your good start, will you be happy to be midtable or are your sights set a little higher, Europa league maybe?

Pardew has surprised me he seems to be doing well, I expect the Pieman backs him more than Houghton?
