    For an absolute tiny club, with no budget in a small stadium he has done fantastic for them all whilst playing actual football.

    There is more to football than just defending, you may as well stick with Allardyce, or get Pulis in.

    If 6mil was the price of assured prem league football ok.

    I still think Unsworth would have delivered that from what I recall.

    True. Still crazy to go with a manager you know isn't/won't be popular knowing you'll have to pay him to leave. No way was he ever the future for Everton.

    He gained them £2m for every place up the league they rose, £6m is nothing to pay off after that gain plus staying in the PL.

    He's also succeeded in massively lowering Everton fans' expectations

    When Moshiri took over Tobes and the others thought Everton would be competing for top 6

    Now they'll celebrate top half like a CL final so long as the football is marginally less dull than Mourinho's

    They could have saved £75m and not signed Klaassen, Keane, and Pickford. No difference to their season.

    They were never going to go down. There were some proper crap teams in the league this season, Allardyce had the easiest job going.
