    Chelsea are considering moving for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino if Antonio Conte leaves the club this summer, according to Sky sources.

    Conte is expected to depart Stamford Bridge after Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester United.

    Moshiri is certainly holding back - no long term plans or strategy in evidence at Everton. Maybe he's waiting to see if the stadium actually comes off before deciding his next move.

    Holding back what?

    If he was ‘holding back’ he’d keep Fat Sam in situ, a manager guaranteed to retain PL status despite boring the fans rigid, and save himself £6m + in the process.

    Instead he’s going to shoot him and possibly employ a young up and coming manager. That’s the complete converse of what you’re suggesting.
