I don’t see Coleman coming here, as for Jenkins it does not look good for him keeping his job, I even see the Yanks doing a runner, and for me that would be no bad thing, though they might well pocket the money from the sale of our better players, the parachute payments should be safe, next season’s revenue will drop to about £60 million including the parachute money, what worries me is the size of the job to reconstruct the squad, into something resembling a half decent team to cope with the rigours of the Championship..........
The Americans may cut their loses but I have a feeling they are staying as they have already invested knowledge and expertise to improve the foundations of the club. As someone said in the game - gat rid of the Yanks and another group of businessmen common and do the same - but with less to lose. The squad is pretty much Championship standard - a couple of wingers and we could be reasonably strong - depending on who stays.
Sorry Bob but we will be needing more than a couple of wingers, just watch and see the cull before you build your hopes up, we will need new players all over the pitch, especially front line and midfield, not sure what the club will do with Mesa and Baston, would they play in the second tier? How much will we lose on these transfers alone, then there is the big problem of Bony, CL injury? I see us needing at least 6 players maybe 8 to replace those that leave.........
I agree it won't just be wingers we need but new players in various positions and as you say we won't know the true position until we know who's leaving. Some of the under 23's will become first team players and some will need to be bought in. We need a strong on field leader as a priority.
Yes we have lost our identity and we need the Swansea way to come back and to do that we need a manager that fully understands the system. The club must get players that can play a certain way including a striker or two who can score 15 to 20 goals a season, Plus left and right speedy wingers who can cross the ball, They need a strong captain in the Martinez, Monk or Ash mould and a much needed old Leon type player to run the engine room of the side....So that is about 6 players we need with approx combined valuation of £80m - £90m plus or minus £10m.....Most of that money can come from selling players like Bony and the £80m worth of players we have out on loan.....

Mcburnie can fit this bill ans is already our player. We must also reralise we need players for the championship and not the PL.
Reports saying we are set to sign Yan dhanda from Liverpool......a good sign is that their fans aren't too happy on social media,.a promising u23 attacking midfielder, who won last season's up and coming Asian award
HJ caught on video Who goes will depend on the small print and clauses in the players contracts but, imo, other than J Ayew and Fabianski, none will realy be missed. I don't see many getting back into the prem unless its via one of the newly promoted clubs as I dont see decent offers for Carroll, Fer, Narsingh, Bony, A Ayew? from anywhere else. Carroll may attract a few premier bids and I worry about losing VDH and Bartley. Marseilles maybe might offer a cheeky bid for J Ayew and or A Ayew and I can only see China offering anything for Bony. Any offers we get will be peanuts though compared to board valuations imo. So who goes will depend on contract clauses and on how much the board want to cut their losses. They wont want to give players away though, so we could see some or most of the above still playing for us next year. Elsewhere, Mawson has just gone under the knife and may miss the start of pre-season so he's a risky bid. Also I've heard from Huw Jenkin's cousin's, sister's, dog walker's, butcher's, wife's, gardener that Fabianski's departure is solely dependent on offers as he is happy to stay. We knew Ki would be leaving regardless of our final position so good luck, goodbye, he wont be missed. To return we have Fulton; good, Grimes, not that excited about, McBurnie; must hold on to him imo and don't forget the enigma that is Jefferson Monterro. Messa or Baston returning is a doubt but maybe we should make them come back, both tried to use us imo, so **** em, make them earn their corn. There's several decent prospects in the U23's too who are hungry and just itching for a chance so, if you add everything up I think we're in decent shape for next season even if the likes of Carroll, J Ayew, A Ayew, Fabs etc do leave. We certainly need to sign a bit of dog in midfield and we need to hold onto VDH and Bartley imo, but I still think we're in decent shape. I'm looking forward to next season regardless, as the last two have been far too bitter and stressful to enjoy. For me the Championship is like a breath of fresh air and I'm very much looking forward playing there.
I'm not sure about the "you need different players in the Championship" thing.......surely the majority of the the PL (top half at least) would win promotion from the Championship with the players they currently have ? I also think we already have Championship players - they certainly didn't perform like PL players for the majority of the season. I'm not exactly looking forward to being in the Championship, but it can't be any worse than we've been served the last 3 years or so. The last time I was truly excited was when Laudrup was with us and we were in Europe. After that ended there's been nothing to really look forward to. So I hope we get off to a flyer when the season starts, and then maybe I can look forward to enjoying football again.
I think we need to have a different mindset and rebuild. I know the owners suggested in their statement they would spend . I 'll believe that when I see it. So we need to use our transfer funds wisely. So we need to use players that are ambitious to move forward and not stand still. Mcburnie scored a lot of goals for the under 23's and must have received a good service to have done so. A good service to the front men is what has been lacking in the first team so we should identify the under 23's who supplied the service and promote them.
Every season since monk left when we finished in the top half has been nothing more than a Bonus and waiting for the time we would be relegated.....Well it has happened and deservedly so and the only way we can change that is to pay top dollar for Martinez or Rodgers to come back.....
“There’s talk about Huw (Jenkins) and the board going too and the Americans thinking along other lines. We just don’t know. It’s a big decision. - John Toshack What these Yanks say and what they do are two different things..........
Well it looks like Fabianski want to leave after all "Lukasz Fabianski tells Swansea City he wants out following their relegation to the Championship" Huw Jenkin's cousin's, sister's, dog walker's, butcher's, wife's, gardener is full of **** man
