I think we may be surprised that we don’t lose that many. Certainly not to other PL clubs, unless they offer crazy wages. Bertie, maybe, Cedric - possibly abroad, Boufal if he really has an attitude problem and it’s not “agent speak” to get him out, Davis as he’s closing his career ....., Lemina might have caught someone’s eye, but I don’t see many clubs lining up for the rest.
Keep the majority of our squad and add a few good replacements .....
it’s the hope that kills you :emoticon-0105-wink:

The usual ****wits who just have a go at any player they’ve decided isn’t good. And yet they say they’re “loyal supporters”. Bunch of cretins. Get behind the players and give them a chance!

Redmond will get stick no matter how he plays as some "supporters" have made up there minds. I thought he played well today

People were constantly moaning that he was losing it when he was running at players. OK, he didn't have much success but I'd much rather he did that than pass it backwards (which is also bloody moaned at!). I thought everyone played well today. Hojbjerg has had a storming end to the season. He played a sumptuous pass behind the City back line that got Long in behind. The squad has plenty of talent and Hughes has managed to get the players to show it. There's absolutely no reason why we can't finish 8th next season. But the board have to have learnt from this poor and almost disastrous season. The players want Hughes as manager so don't go looking for the next Pochettino again in the summer. And SPEND WISELY!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just hoping Pierre's recent performances have gone under the radar.

I think the reason we were better was because Tadic moved to the left, JWP to the right and all of a sudden we were better balanced.
Tadic on the left immediately brought Bertrand forward and we started to put pressure on them.
Need to do it next season, if Dusan is still here.

I think he will be if Hughes stays. He was really positive about him when he was talking to Blackmore after the match.

I think we are better balanced with JWP playing as he does all the ordinary stuff well. He keeps us ticking over. I am not suggesting him OVER Redmond. More, that I want him in to help create a more fluent side. Redmomd is fine to play somewhere else or, even better, make an impact off the bench.

Honestly, we need to start to play with the ball on the floor and JWP is very good at that.

For me, i would have Tadic in the middle, Prowse on the right, a new pacey inside forward on the left and a new target man upfront. hopefully we wont need 3 at the back if we can get a new CB who's dominant in the box.

That'd give us a technical player, a creative player and a speedster. which we could switch around to target any weaknesses.

Say what you like about the squad and its component parts but if we'd played the whole season as we've played under Hughes, we'd be in Europe.

Wouldn't say no to three Stoke players this summer
    Shawcross, Allen and Shakiri
WBA have Dawson and Hegasi both strong CBs

I’d sooner have Mawson than Dawson.

No thanks to Shawcross. I'd happily take Allen, Shaqiri and Hegazi though. Shaqiri has a £12 million relegation release clause apparently...
