    This season has been the longest and suckiest I can remember. Really not thrilled to have Man City in the final game given the situation so I'm going to be happy to just have it over with. Give it heaps boys and bring on the final whistle!

    Not marooned up top on his own though. Maybe with Sims or Long, then set up like we did vs Chelsea at Wembley; three holding midfielders (Romeu, Lemina, Hojberg), and 3 CBs. Which would leave the FBs exposed, but Bertie and Cedric are both fast if nothing else. And the danger from City will all be through the middle.

    Hughes will have a plan anyway. If we get a point, offer him the job immediately, before he leaves the ground.

    No thanks. We'll need some sort of threat and we'll need to get out of our own half occasionaly, because we cannot maintain concentration at the back for 90 minutes.
