Yes, and even before that there were signs that he wasn't progressing as hoped. Maybe something to do with his physical development; he was a small lad, but was becoming quite lanky when I last saw him. Dickplum has seen him since then.
Archie Edwards has not progressed how I expected him to. In fact he has gone backwards. As a 17 year old he was very good if small. But other players have overtaken him. He needs to sign for a good non league team and try to rebuild his career. Welling United would be a good fit for him.
