Morning Chesh, personally I think Stoke will find it difficult to recruit due to the fact, who wants to live in Stoke?
Morning Mike, we have too many reserve kind of players. Cibicki, Antonssen, you can add Sacko, Cooper, Berardi, De Bock, O'Kane - the list goes on.
There in lies the problem, the first 11 isn't strong enough, too many League 1 standard players in our first team let alone squad.
Morning ristac, I can't see Rad changing the way we recruit, otherwise Rad would have strongly have hinted to Orta to take the DOF role at Deportivo.
Morning Doc, Whyte is firmly on our radar. If he joins, he will go into our u23's first though if reports are to be believed.
Just hope I never have to witness Grot play again. If that happens atleast there would have been some good news over the summer months.
From Sports Witness Klich is so frank, it's brilliant. “When I came to Leeds, the technical director told me that we would play well. But when we had a bad period after a good start, we threw everything overboard." "Very angry" with Christiansen. sportwitness.co.uk/klich-says-des… #lufc #mot
Suddenly we played typical Championship football and that doesn’t suit me, I belong in a team that wants to have the ball.” Playing on the right side of a diamond for Utrecht, Klich thinks it has helped his game, and he can be like a new signing for Paul Heckingbottom: “I am looking forward to a new opportunity at Leeds, which I will also get. My contract runs for another two years and the club wants me back. For the new trainer I am like a new purchase, I can prove myself again. “The level I can handle, I know that for sure. Especially now that I have become more mature in my game. The most important thing is that I get the chance to play a few matches. I want to show myself in Leeds. And if that doesn’t work? Yes, then maybe I’ll come back to the Eredivisie one more time.”
I’m happy for Klich to come back for another chance. I’ve heard he looked a decent player in training, but crossed swords with TC. Whether he’s suited to the champ? Who knows, it’s for ph/new coach to decide. If he does come back and plays mostly i’d Be happiest for doc to be reunited with his love child, the penetrator... like father like son eh As for TC chucking the plan out of the window, I’m not sure he had much choice after it became clear what a bunch of lightweight nonces we had... unfortunately he only had other lightweight nonces to replace them with.
Milky the penetrator quote actually came from some Polish relatives and some Poles who worked for me. That was his nickname back in Poland, not one I gave him. But because I have tried to be fair to Klich and because I know Poles who have seen him play ...... The bit of his interview which worried me is quoted above by Elland. He says he doesnt like playing Championship style football as it doesnt siut him? Hoping that got lost in translation, but in this league you cant just do tippy tappy and get promoted unless you have the quality of Fulham or Wolves
You know me mate I've been saying it all season, the likes of Weasel & others disagreed with me but the final table doesn't lie. Get it wrong this summer & that's the league we'll be heading for
