WAHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FECKING LOVE FOOTBALL...LOVE IT
Not pretty but job done. Goal aside Kane was really poor. As was Son. Jan was woeful in the first half. Lamela looked good when he came on, great bit of play to put in Rose who should've finished. Really hope Tripps is alright, been one of our best performers this season and it'd be cruel if his injury rules him out of the WC. Anyway, here's to CL football at WHITE HART LANE next season, guys and gals
Sorry to dissapoint you mate but they have changed the rules, you dont have to play a qualifying match for the champs league anymore.......
Firstly i want to say im over the moon that we have got champions league football again next season and to be playing the elite teams in our new world class stadium on a Tue/Wed evening is going to be incredible. At the start of the season many thought we would finish outside the top four because of the Wembley factor, we had severe teething problems becoming accustomed to our temporary home and fell of the pace staright away. Our away record has been excellent and this allowed us to stay in the hunt. We could even finish 3rd now. Tonight we played a bang average Newcastle side who had nothing to play for,They should have won let alone lost, We were like rabbits caught in the headlights. Eriksen and Lloris can hold their heads up high, they both did well, the rest were pitiful, no leadership, poor concentration, poor touches, playing sideways or backwards, none of them stood up to be counted tonight. There really is a mentality problem at Spurs, i dont know if its poor leadership or just not being able to handle the pressure. We have staggered over the finish line and we are lucky because Watford and Newcastle have missed countless sitters against us. At least the pressure will be off on Sunday, hopefully the players can relax and we can put on a show. Major surgery needed in the summer transfer market to try and turn this team of competitors into winners.
