Nothing can destroy my mood today...Trump can drop the bomb now if he wants. Saints will still be in the PL.
I think we should start a campaign to bring back Match of the Day. Not sure why the BBC cancelled it this season.
We are unaware of what plans the new owner has, but am more excited knowing that it will be in the EPL (bar us being hit by Jupiter's lightening bolt). The planned tour of China won't seem such an anti-climax. Bound to be an end of season review (all perfectly normal) but I hope it will be more constructive than mud-slinging...after all we don't know all that was going on. Fans are blaming people that they might be right to blame....but they may also be blaming people who were hamstrung from above. I think the takeover was a massive distraction....especially if combined with some over confidence that we wouldn't be relegated. I think that thought was held by a lot of people (including a lot of the media) who couldn't understand how we got in that position. Shows that it can happen to anyone. Could be an interesting summer...let's hope a really constructive one. In the meantime
I think I have liked nearly every post on here since the final whistle It is indeed a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!! Even Mrs No7 left me to it last night, ignored my shouting, swearing, cheering and screams of "Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssss!!!!" at the final whistle. It is quite wonderful.
What a great "backs to the wall" performance....... Just how much did it mean to them. Look at the team's joy after the match
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-05-09/highlights-swansea-city-southampton-premier-league-1718 Phew....always a relief when you win the highlights as well. Will someone explain to me why I was tense and chewing my fingernails during the final minutes?
I loved Dave Merrington comparing Gabbiadini with Jimmy Greaves, and Adam Blackmore calling him “Gianni on the Spot”!
