Swings and roundabouts, some signings pay off, some don't. Joe Allen (£13m) has been one of their better players this season, Shaqiri (£12m) is excellent and though they've spunked money on players like Wimmer, they've balanced it out by getting over £20m for a player that cost them £2m.
